The Inciser
Handling Systems
The Inciser is much more than a cutting machine, it takes control of the section from a transfer or conveyor and safely and efficiently transfers the sections through the Inciser, setup times for differing material types and sizes are virtually eliminated, cycle times are as fast as cutting processes and materials will allow. A holistic approach to material handling and safety systems is adopted.
The Control System
Extensive experience in industrial automation, CNC, motion control and custom PC software and machine integration has developed into a very advanced leading edge, open architecture approach to the control and software system.
The control system is housed in an air-cooled industrial enclosure mounted to the sub frame of the machine. The enclosure has been specifically designed for the housing of a PC and incorporates a Pentium based processor, CD, hard disk, LAN and modem connections and includes one of the most advanced motion controller cards available in the world to original equipment manufacturers.
Other enclosures house motor drives, circuit breakers, protection equipment and terminations to the machine.
Cabling on the machine utilizes highly flexible and screened cables conforming to EMC regulations and standards.
The operator console is constructed with a boom arm able to be positioned strategically within the machine envelope. The console includes a 15-inch LCD monitor, keyboard, tracker ball and various pushbuttons, indicators and hand wheel encoder for accurate manual position control functions.
