A prominent UAE-based cladding company is benefiting from PFP Tech's R&D program.

Ongoing development of PFP Tech's horizontal internal pipe weld overlay cladding rig has yielded a new, low profile lance and torch capable of depositing dual layers along the full length up to 12m long pipes with a minimum internal diameter of 165mm.

The new capability was launched to meet the needs of Global Clad Alloys FZCO in Mafraq, Abu Dhabi, who have recently purchased two of PFP Tech's 12m internal weld overlay cladding rigs as well as two of each of the WB1200 and WB2500 vertical boom rigs and associated 5 tonne positioners.
